What was once known as Metsäketun Pizzeria has now taken its dream further and grown into a full-fledged kievari: a place where incredibly delicious food, deep relaxation, and nature come together in an authentic countryside landscape. At Metsäketun Kievari, you'll find: Metsäketun Pizzeria on the cozy barn loft,
Fox Café and Field Spa right by the field’s edge,
the forest adventure trail in our 7-hectare forest,
summer sheeps to pet, yard games, and so much more!
Metsäketun Pizzeria opens on 30th of May.
Fox Café and Field Spa will open on 27th of June.

Philosophy
THE THOUGHT BEHIND OUR PIZZERIA
Metsäketun Kievari is a dream of a place, where customers can enjoy incredible taste experiences and relax in a wonderful farm environment. Our ingredients are the soul of our restaurant and café. At Metsäketun Kievari, almost all ingredients come from producers as close as possible and from our own farm. Our dream is that in the future almost all ingredients would come from the fields and forests of our own farm, where the kievari is located as well.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN
Metsäketun Kievari is open at Taivasmaa on Saturdays in June and on Fridays and Saturdays starting from July (with a few exceptions) from 11am to 22pm. Below you can see when our Kievari is open at Taivasmaa and when we're out making pizzas somewhere else.
In Metsäketun Pizzeria, that is held in the Kievari's barn loft, we prepare a limited number of pizzas doughs for each opening day, so reserving your spot guarantees your delicious pizza moment on our barns loft that day.
But reservations are not mandatory, though! You can call us on the pop-up day to check if there are still pizza doughs available, or take a look at the current reservation situation below, or simply just drop by.
Pizzas are always available for take-away too – either pre-made and ready for pickup at an agreed time, or you can let us know when ordering that you'd like them to go.

While our farm in Kisko is closed during the winter, Metsäketun Pizzeria's Take-Away pizza cart operates between November and April in Salo. Although the point of sale is different from our farm, our philosophy is still the same. The ingredients for our pizzas still come from producers as close as possible, some are grown by us ourselves, and we always prefer to choose organic. In the Menu section of our website, you can explore our food cart's pizza selection. Pizzas can always be ordered on site or by calling in advance.

Do you have an event or do you know of an event where you would like delicious artisan pizzas for sale?
Metsäketun Pizzeria has a new fantastic food cart that allows us to conjure up delicious pizzas for various events. We have been involved for two years, for example, in Fiskars Bike Expo and Herttoniemi Rhubarb Festival. We can conjure up pizzas for your event that will stay in the memory of your visitors and bring a smile to their faces.

Metsäketun Kievari is located at Taivasmaa Farm in Kisko, Salo. The easiest way to get here is by car, with plenty of parking available in front of the barn and on the lower field once you arrive.
During the winter season when our farm restaurant is closed, our Take-Away pizza cart operates in central Salo from November to May, parked in front of Gigantti and Virtasenkauppa.
There’s lots to see and do around our farm! We’ve put together a map showing all our favorite spots nearby. So come treat yourselves, relax with us, and experience all the wonderful things the surrounding area has to offer!
